In a first for the entire South Pacific region, Fiji will be hosting a Global Pediatric Cardiac Conference in Suva on Wednesday the 26th of April 2023.
The conference, accredited by Stanford Medicine, is being organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital Fiji which is South Pacific’s first state-of-the-art Pediatric Cardiac super speciality Hospital.
The conference features renowned speakers from around the world and will focus upon issues surrounding Pediatric Cardiac Care in Fiji and the South Pacific Islands with an emphasis on congenital heart disease.
Speakers for the conference include Prof. Afksendiyos Kalangos, Dr. Ignacio Lugones, Prof. Lazslo Kiraly and Dr. Shaun Setty.
The Chief Guests for the Conference will be the Prime Minister of Fiji Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji Hon. Biman Prasad, Fiji Minister for Health Hon. Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu and Global Social Service Leader Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai.
