Hon. Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama
Former Prime Minister of Fiji

“The Sai Prema Foundation has earned the gratitude of the Fijian people. Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for the services you offer our people, and – above all else – thank you for the lives you have saved, and the lives you will save. Your immense impact on the health of our nation will never be forgotten. You are invaluable partners to my Government, and the tremendous impact you’ve had on the lives of young Fijians, in particular, cannot be fully captured in words. You’ve certainly set a very high bar in responsible and caring Fijian citizenship, and I very much look forward to all you have yet to achieve.”

Hon. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum
Former Attorney-General and Minister for Economy

“The work of organisations such as Sai Prema Foundation will help us realise that our strength is in our ability to get together as a human race and in our ability to get together as individuals. I would like to acknowledge the Sai Prema Foundation for undertaking these initiatives and looking at a much bigger picture by not just providing Medical services but also looking into investing into the knowledge base of our Doctors. The people you have helped and the children you have performed the heart surgeries on, obviously you have given them a new lease of life and you have given those families a renewed sense of hope. That is very much appreciated. We look forward to working together with you and I wish the Sai Prema Foundation all the best.”

Hon. Ifereimi Waqainabete
Former Minister for Health and Medical Services

“Our Ministry has embarked on universal health coverage to ensure that every Fijian is reached and no one is left behind, and one important partner is the Sai Prema Foundation. Lives have been healed, through the gift of compassion, the gift of commitment and the gift of collaboration between Sai Prema and Ministry of Health. The biggest contribution they have made and given to Fiji are the dozens of health care, education and social welfare projects. Projects such as Gift of Life heart surgeries, Health on Wheels Medical Camps, Be A Hero blood drives, Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre and the Sai Sanjeevani Heart Screening centre has left a lasting legacy and given hearts to our children. 90% of those children that are born with congenital heart disease unfortunately live in poor regions and have little or no access enrol to care. The future of the heart in children of Fiji lies in the state-of-the-art $25m Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital and this is going to be something very sustainable.  I extend a heartful gratitude and a vinaka vakalevu to the Sai Prema Foundation.”

Every time these children smile, it is a wonderful reflection of your commitment to serve for the greater good of humankind, to save lives, to restore peace and happiness in the lives of those who need you. You are the champions of the children of Fiji, you are their heroes, they will always remember you and, I have no doubt, aspire to be like you, to reach out and help others.”
