Sumeet Tappoo is a professional singer and an international concert performer with a base in India’s Film and Music Industry capital, Mumbai. Fiji-born Sumeet graduated with Bachelor of Business and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from a premier University in Sydney, Australia.

However, his passion for music, spirituality and philanthropy motivated him to lead a career in Indian music. Starting from his first public performance at the tender age of 8, he has performed more than 600 concerts covering the Indian diaspora worldwide. With 25+ albums to his credit, including releases by some of India’s leading Music Houses, Sumeet has recorded with and given live performances alongside some of India’s music industry legends, with a live performance in the presence of the legendary Mr. Amitabh Bachchan being the highlight of his career.

As a Philanthropist, he assists charitable, social, spiritual and non-profit organisations internationally through his music concerts. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Fine Arts & Service Society in USA and as Chairman of the International Advisory Board of Sai Prema Foundation Fiji and Chairman of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital.

As Director of the Sai Prema Foundation Fiji and the Chairman of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital, he spearheads a noble mission to serve the underprivileged and needy people of Fiji through Medicare, Educare & Sociocare initiatives.
