18,545children given free heart screening in rural Fiji totally free of cost

Sai Prema Foundation’s Heart Beat is a child Heart Screening initiative to ensure children with potential heart disease are referred to specialists for further investigation for both Congenital & Rheumatic heart disease. The high incidence of heart disease prevalent in rural Fiji has prompted the Foundation to ensure that these children do not fall prey to the deadly disease. This heart screening initiative has been set up with the simple of ensuring that all children in Fiji are screened and treated.
